This range of bio filter systems have multiple zones for ensuring good filtration ... different zones contain hydro mats, brushes foams and special biomedia on which masses of pond bacteria grow. These bacteria purify the pond water continuously. There are 2 basic filter models ... and 2 models combined with Bitron UV sterilizers for both clean and clearwater

These UV units prevent pond water going green and murky. When used in conjunction with the Biotec crystal clear water is assured. There are 2 sizes of Bitron UV units
The multi-chamber system guarantees a simple cleaning process. The microorganisms ensure self-cleaning of the filter material. Manual cleaning is very rarely required. Useful extras such as dirt and temperature indicators are incorporated into the lid. The Biotec filter was designed to have an extremely long life and it therefore comes with a 3-year warranty. The product will, of course, be replaced free of charge if it should develop a fault during the warranty period.
